Production of isotopes $sup 22$Ne and $sup 20$Ne and enrichment of $sup 21$Ne by means of rectification at 28$sup 0$K (in German)

For production of neon isotopes in a larger scale the most suitable method is rectification. To provide an economical regime, the evaporator and condenser are connected with a neon cooling cycle. The column packing consists of spirals of stainless steel (1.6 mm x 1.8 mm x 0.2 mm) and has a height of 6000 mm. With twofold distillation the following concentrations were obtained: /sup 22/Ne 99.3 per cent per volume (max. 99.5 per cent), /sup 20/Ne 99.97 to 99.98 per cent per volume. /sup 21/Ne was enriched to 1.2% per volume, i.e., to fourfold natural concentration.
