This specification covers hot- and cold-rolled Zr and Zr--Sn alloy sheet, strip, and plate. Grades designated RA-1, R-1, and RA-2 suitable for nuclear application are described. The following forms and sizes are included: (1) sheet 24 in. or more wide, under 0.187 in. thick; (2) strip less than 24 in. wide, under 0.187 in. thick; and (3) plate over 10 in. wide, 0.187 in. and over thick. Requirements for chemical composition, chemical analysis, mechanical properties, testing, and inspection are included. (JRD)
