Material covered shall be furnished in the following conditions; (1) rods 5/16 to 3/4 in. excl,, in diameter (hot finished, annealed, and pickled or mechanically descaled); and (2) rods 3/4 to 31/2 in. incl,, in diameter (hot finished, annealed, and ground or turned). The term rod as used includes material of round solid section furnished in straight lengths, The Ni-base alloy requirements are 20.5 to 23.0% Cr, 17 to 20% Fe, and 8 to 10% Mo, with other constituents under 1%.
