Noncoherent scattering in transfer problems in spherical shell media. II. Frequency-dependent source function

The Combined Operations Method was used to solve the diffuse radiation problems in inhomogeneous, noncoherently scattering, spherical shell media. A redistribution function was introduced so as to account for the frequency- dependent source function. The relevant auxiliary equation was formulated; and its N solution, sought. A scattering and emitting medium with a partially transparent core was considered. (auth)
