Recoil in ($sup 16$O,$sup 15$N) reactions on 2s-1d- and 1f-2p-shell nuclei

The recently published data and nonrecoil distorted-wave Born- approximation (DWBA) calculations of Maher et al. are compared with exact recoil DWBA predictions to study quantitatively recoil effects on single-nucleon- transfer heavy-ion reactions on mediummass targets at energies ~10 MeV above the Coulomb barrier.
