THE STATIC RESISTANCE OF Al-Zn, Al-Mg, AND Al-Cu ALLOYS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Doklady Akad. Nauk S.S.S.R.
OSTI ID:4358021
Slow repetitive loading causes disintegration of material at a reduced number of cycles as compared to highfrequency alternating loading. Experiments were made of loading at 6 to 8 cycles per minute. Diagrams are given of the mechanical changes and static resistance of Al--Zn, Al--Mg, and Al--Cu alloys, and of the effects of Cu content and aging temperature on the resistance of the alloys.
