We show that thc residue of the J = 0 fixed pole in the virtual Compton amplitude has itself a pole with the positive residue at the value of t where alpha (t) = 0; here alpha (t) is a Regge trajectory appearing in the t channel and this point is the so-called sense-nonsene point. Hence the residue of the J = 0 fixed pole has a positive sign at t = 0 STAwhere alpha (t)> 0!, which is the sign opposite to the Born term. The experimental relevance of our result to the clectroproduction off nuclcons is discussed. (auth)
