Dual-parton model PCAC and the Goldberger--Treiman relation

On the basis of the dual-parton model of hadrons, which does not take into account the role of infinite number of pions in pion cloud in eN' deep inelastic scattering as well as in the dual resonance model of strong interactions, the validity of PCAC has been introduced from the dynamics of pion emission mechanism and weak interaction. It is shown that we can have a dynamical interpretation of the PCAC relation and the Goldberger-Treiman relation on the basis of this dual parton model of hadrons. (auth)
