Stimulated luminescence of $gamma$ irradiated polycrystalline ice (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. Rend., Ser. A, B, v. 277, no. 14, pp. 391-394
OSTI ID:4353898

After gamma irradiation and the detrapping of stabilized electrons, pure polycrystalline ice emits radiation principally concentrated in the 380-nm line. It is shown that this differential luminescence cannot be attributed to OH/ sup */, OH/sup -*/, or H/sub 3/O/sup */ but is most p robably due to the first triplet state of water. (FR)
