Review criteria for ARC ALWR equipment qualification

Advanced Reactor Corporation has developed a methodology for seismic qualification of equipment in Advanced Light Water Reactor plants by use of experience data. The exiting criteria for review of seismic qualification available in the industry standards and NRC Regulatory Guides and Standard Review Plans are inadequate for this purpose. This paper presents an alternative framework and a set of criteria that can be used for review of the ARC qualification methodology.
