Relation between $sup 90$Sr in the stratosphere and its deposition on the Earth's surface (in Russian)

Literature data were analyzed for /sup 90/Sr concentrations in the lower atmosphere and fallout in the northern and southern hemispheres from 1959 to 1969. A relation was established between /sup 90/Sr in the stratosphere at the beginning of the year and the annual fallout rate of this isotope as a function of latitude and between the total /sup 90/Sr fallout in both hemispheres and density of fallout of this isotope in different latitudes (in 10 deg bands). There was little change in the values from year to year. The half-life of /sup 90/Sr from the stratosphere of the northern and southern hemispheres from 1963 to 1969 was estimated as 10 months.
