From international nuclear industries fair; Basel, Switzerland (16 Oct 1972). It is intended to study the main problems arising from the design of the first four 1000 MW nuclear turbines to be installed in France in association with light water reactors. With regard to their main features, the solutions which were chosen have already been confirmed by experience either through a satisfactory behavior in service on other turbines, or, as far as the manufacturing processes are concerned and especially for the low-pressure rotors, through the realization of the two 500 MW units for Tihange power station in Belgium.
