The energy of Am/sup 241/ alpha particles, with previously assigned values of 5476.6 plus or minus 2 kev (with Rn/sup 222/ source holder) and 5482.0 plus or minus 0.6 kev (with Po/sup 210/), is compared with the energy of Po/sup 210/ alpha particles measured with Ra/sup 224/(ThX) as source holder. Results of measurements suggested for the energy of Po/sup 210/ alpha particles the value 5297.8 plus or minus 1.5 kev. (R.V.J.)
