Narrow energy band filters for a 250 kV constant potential x-ray machine
A number of narrow energy bond x-ray beams suitable for evaluating detector responses between 80 and 170 keV have been developed using filtered x- rays, and verified by Ge(Li) spectrometry. The exposure rates were measured with a free air ionization chamber and shown to decrease with the square of distance from the x-ray target. (auth)
