Energy spectra of the ( gamma , p) reaction of /sup 27/Al and /sup 31/P were observed, and differential cross section was obtained. The proton energy spectra taken at the electron energy of 23 MeV by varying target thickness show the same structure, the same position of peak and the same counting rate as previous measurement. The proton energy spectra for various incident electron energy were also measured. The differential cross section at the angle of 90 deg was obtained from the spectra. The position of peaks and relative intensity were similar to the absorption cross section of gamma and the ( gamma , n) cross section of iiAl. This fact suggests that the mechanism of gamma absorption in the present experiment is same as that of ( gamma , n) reaction. The cross section oi ( gamma , pi) reaction was a little larger than that of ( gamma , pi) reaction. This fact seems to be due to the spin-parity of the ground state and first excited state of /sup 26/Mg and the ground state of /sup 27/Al. The proton energy spectra of /sup 31/ P( gamma , p) /sup 30/Si reaction were observed. Shape of the spectra depends largely on the differential cross section of the ( gamma , p/sub 0/) reaction. The differential cross sections of the /sup 31/P( gamma , pi) and /sup 31/P( gamma ,p/sub 1/) reactions were obtained. Cross structure of the differential cross section of the /sup 31/P( gamma , p/sub 0/) reaction was similar to that of /sup 31/S( gamma , p/sub o/) /sup 31/P, and suggests the same mechanism o f gamma absorption. This mcans that the protons contributing to the differential cross section of the /sup 31/P( gamma , p/sub 0/ ) and /sup 32/S( gamma , p/ sub 1/) are in the same orbit and in the 2S/sub 1/2/ orbit.
