Structure of interstellar matter around zeta Persei (in German)

Spectra of zeta Persei were obtained with the Coude-grating spectrograph of a 2-m reflecting telescope. Other spectra were determined with the aid of a Cassegrain spectrograph. A Gaussian analysis is conducted for 12 line profiles. The radial velocities of Ca ions and Na ions are compared with the velocities of the hydrogen atoms. Aspects of gaseous density and the abundances of Na and Ca are discussed. The interstellar dust component is considered together with the resnlts of photographic three-color photometry, interstellar polarization, and structure analysis. (IAA)
