On the Design of Spiral Sector Accelerators

The MURA IBM 704 computer was used to study the field variation in the median plane for Spiral Sector FFAG accelerators with various parameters. The results of this study are summarized in the graphs of this report. It is hoped that by the use of these graphs one can readily arrive at approximate design parameters.
