The computer program FINITE RANGE DWBA PHASE 1 written in FORTRAN for the IBM 360/65 computer is described for the calculation of the angular distributions produced by direct nuclear transfer reactions. In this type of reactions one assumes that a nucleon or cluster of nucleons is transferred directly from a bound state in the projectile nucleus to a bound state in the target nucleus. The angular distributions are calculated by using DWBA with additional approximation of no-recoil. (JFP)
