Five isobaric-analog resonances in the /sup 50/Ti(p, p- gamma ) reaction at incid ent proton energies of 3.595, 3.614, 4.30, 4.35, and 4.58 MeV have been investigated through p' and gamma -ray angular distributions and p'- gamma coincidence angular correlations. Particlespin amplitude mixing ratios for the 2.595-, 3.614-, 4.35-, and 4.58-MeV resonances have been determined as delta (p/ sub 3,2/ /sub 1,2/) equal to 0.40 plus or minus 0.15, -3.6/sup +1.0//su b -1.6/, -0. 1 plus or minus 0.6, and 0.18 plus or minus 0.16, respectively. The weak-coupling-model calculations of Divadeenam and Beres for /sup 51/Tl are in good agreement with the mixing ratios predicted for the 2/sup +/ excited /sup 50/ Ti core plus p-wave neutron. The spin-parities of the 4.30- and 4.38-MeV resonances have been established as 5/2/sup -/ and 3/2/sup -/. (auth)
