INVESTIGATION OF THE ENERGY AND ANGLE DISTRIBUTION OF NEUTRAL PIONS PRODUCED BY 470-AND 660-Mev PROTONS IN CARBON

Results of measuremeuts of the energy spectra of gamma rays from the decay of neutral pions produced by 660-Mev protons in carbon are reported. The angle and energy distributions of the neutral pious obtained from an analysis of the spectra of gamma -rays produced by 660- and 470-Mev protons in carbon are also given. (auth) The energy spectrum of the mu mesons from K/sub mu 3/ decay (K/sub mu 3/ yields mu /sup +/ + nu + pi /sup o/) is calculated for the case of a scalar (pseudoscalar) particle with derivative coupliag between the fermiou mu , nu ) and spin-O boson (K/sup mu 3/, pi ) fields.
