The essence of the reverse osmosis method is described. Experimental results on purification and concentration of liquid low-level wastes at the Moscow purification station are presented. Decontamination factors for individual radioisotopes are given. The possibility of using semi-permeable cellulose acetate membranes for the purification of liquid radioactive wastes is discussed.
