S>In this paper some uraninites and pitchblendes from the Argentine Repubiic are studied. First, the mineralogical and geological characteristics of these minerals and their known deposits in the Argentine are given. Microscopic studies, chemical analysis, and x-ray-diffraction investigation are inciuded, and finally age calculations are discussed. (auth)
