Osteogenous sarcomata induced by irradiation (in Czech)

The occurrence of osteogenous sarcomata as a result of therapeutic irradiatlon is discussed. Two cases are reported corfirming the carcinogenic effect of ionizing radiation: osteoplastic sarcomata formed as a result of radiotherapy of retinoblastoma and of Wilms' tumor, respectively. The second case is believed to be the fifth reported case in the world of the sarcoma resulting from the radiotherapy of nephroblastoma. (INIS)
