Cross sections for the photoneutron reactions on $sup 197$Au and $sup 209$Bi (in Russian)

Curves of the total photoneutron yield from /sup 197/Au and /sup 209/Bi were measured at E gamma < 29 MeV. The cross section of the ( gamma ,Tn) reaction was calculated by the method of Penfold and Leiss. The cross sections obtained for the photoabsorption were compared with theoretical calculations. The integrated cross sections for the ( gamma ,Tn) reactions were 4.06 and 4.59 MeV-b for /sup 197/Au and /sup 209/Bi, respectively. (1 figure, 1 table) (tr- auth)
