Introduction of ferritic chrome steel with special consideration of the new ELA ferrite in reactor construction (boiling water reactors) (in German)

From international nuclear industries fair; Basel, Switzerland (16 Oct 1972). Stainless Chromium Steels such as AISI 410 are multi-phased. The mechanical and chemical-corrosive characteristics depending on this make production and fabrication rather difficult. Modern production techniques have made the development of new mono-phased Chrome-Molybdenum-Steels possible. These ELA-Ferrites are superior to all known steels. Therefore they are well adapted for use in nuclear-reactor construction. (auth)
