Methods are developed for analyzing the behavior of weak-focusing synchrotrons and, in particular, for calculating; design parameters. Free oscillations, orbit distortions, resonances in free and phase oscillations, and injection, are considered. The theory is applied to the 10 Bev synchrotron of the USSR Academy of Sciences. (auth)
