Stromgren uvby photometric observations of 10 eclipsing binaries thought to contain undersize subgiant secondaries are presented and analyzed. A straightfortward analysis of the data indicates that the primaries are 1 to 2 magnitudes brighter than luminosity class V stars and that they do not obey the normal main-sequence mass -luminosity law. However, due to the great sensitivity of mass to the photometrically derived absolute magnitude no firm conclusion was reached. In addition, the data suggest that the actual number of undersize systems may be less than previously thought. (auth)
