A major effort was directed toward the preparation o perimental program was continued with the operation of lodel B-3. The operation of lodels B-1 and B- 65 weecontinued. Additional information was gathered on the complex physical conditlons occurring in ionized gases at high temperntures. Experiments on ion cyclotron resonance henting in the B-65 indlcate about half the crgy fed into the coll is absorbed by the gas at low power. The design of most of the components for Model C was completed. (For preceding period see NYO-2192.) (D.E.B.)
