g-factor of the first 2$sup +$ state in $sup 182$W

Journal Article · · Annu. Rep. Res. Reactor Inst., Kyoto Univ., v. 6, pp. 58-60
OSTI ID:4327668
Radioactive /sup 182/Ta was produced by thermal neutron irradiatlon of natural W for about 1 h. The E2/M1 mixing ratio obtained for the 1121-keV transition was 33 plus or minus 7. The precession measurement was made by using an externally applied magnetic field of kOe. The g factor was found to be 0.217 plus or minus 0.018 for a lifetime of 1.99 plus or minus 0.29 ns.
