A description is given of an installation used for the study of heat transfer with high flux density, which uses liquid metals and alloys as the heat exchanger. The loop was tested with a Na-K alloy containing 56 wt.% K and a flux density of rnore than 200 w/cm/sup 2/ with the alloy at a temperature of 550 C. (J.S.R.)
