A series of exponential experiments were carried out on graphite- moderated lattices containing multi-rod fuel clusters, in order to obtain information for design calculations on sodium-graphite power reactors. Measurements of the lattice buckling and intracell flux distribution were included. Experimental measurements of the critical mass with and without sodium in the core of the Sodium Reactor Experiment were intended as a check on the application of exponential experiment results to a critical assembly.
