Journal Article · · Bull. Exptl. Biol. Med. (USSR) (English Translation)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1007/BF00791106· OSTI ID:4325372
Methionine labeled with sulfur-35 was used in studies on disturbances in protein metabolism in liver and intestinal mucosa of rats following exposure to 800 r x radiation. A group of control animals was also examined for radioactive protein synthesis, and results are compared with those for irradiated animals. (C.H.)
