Temperature dependence of the relaxation rate of the $pi$$sup +$-meson spin in ferromagnets

Translated from Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz., Pis'ma Red.; 18: No. 9, 564- 565(5 Nov 1973). The relaxation of the pi /sup +/ spin in iron and nickel was revealed by the attenuation of the muon precession in a transverse magnetic field. The temperature dependence of the damping rate of positive muon spin precession amplitude in magnetized iron and nickel samples is shown. (JFP)
