The continued evaluation of the Norwegian short-period Seismic Array (NORSAR), which was conducted by Texas Instruments Incorporated at the Seismic Data Analysis Center over the period 1 April 1972 to 31 March 1973 is described. The major areas of study presented in this report are: signal analysis on a regional basis; signal amplitude response patterns across the array; array processing performance; NORSAR seismic event detection capability; and behavior of short-period seismic discriminants. The total data base for this study comprises 344 events. (GRA)
