MEASUREMENTS OF RELATIVE BETA DEPTH DOSES IN TISSUE EQUIVALENT MATERIAL

The tissue equivalence'', in beta sense, of different chemical compounds and mixtures is discussed. A scintillation probe for beta-dose measurements is described. The depth doses fronm semi-infinite As/sup 76/,P/sup 32/and Au/sup 198/sources have been measured with this probe and compared with the corresponding values from film measurements. (auth)
