Translated from Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz., Pis'ma Red.; 18: No. 11, 693- 696(5 Dec 1973). It is shown that localized roton states, due to polarization of the helium by the ion, exist near the surface of a positive ion. The additional contribution made to the mobility of the positive ion is calculated on this basis. (auth)
