Analytical solution for a Josephson-junction model with capacitance

Journal Article · · Physica, v. 69, no. 2, pp. 572-578
>The usual equivalent circuit for a constant-current biased Josephson function is considered. The Josephson element is shunted by a capacitance and a nonlinear resistance. The resistance is assumed to be of the form R(V) = const/ V, where V is the voltage (parabolic I- V curve). For that case an analytical solution is obtained, that is, expressions are given for the voltage and the currents through the resistance, the capacitance, and the Josephson element. Further the average voltage and the hysteresis are determined. (auth)
