The selection and preparation of chemical reagents used as raw materials, methods of production, containers and storage of radioisotopes, and operations with radiation sources are discussed. Radiation sources, production technology, and assortment of preparations and tracer compounds are analyzed. A short summary is given on the current and prospective shipments to foreign markets and on the centralization of enterprises, engaged in isotope production, under Soyuzreactiv'' (Union Reagent) Trust of U.S.S.R.
