BS>Both attack-polishing and electrochemical polishing were investigated. Although chemical etching can delineate all the phases. anodic color etching and the definitive anodization colors make metallography and photomicrography simple. Electrochemical etching is used to reveal the grain boundaries in the Zr/sub 3/Al phase. (DLC)
