THE APPLICATION OF ANALOGUE METHODS TO COMPUTE AND PREDICT XENON POISONING IN A HIGH-FLUX NUCLEAR REACTOR

Journal Article · · J. Brit. Nuclear Energy Conf.
The process of xenon poisoning, and its relation to the operation of a high-flux nuclear reactor, are discussed. An analog computer which gives the present value of xenon poisoning, and an associated predictor which can be used to plan future reactor operations, are described. This computer-predictor is to be used as a reactor operator's tool. (auth)
