Triton binding energy with phase-equivalent potentials

Journal Article · · Physics Letters. Section B
A set of phase-equivalent three-term separable potentials in the 3 S1-3D1 state has been constructed by solving the in verse scattering problem. The D-state percentage in the deuteron varies between 4 and 8%. Using a fixed two-term separable /sup 1/S/sub o/ interaction these potentials produce underbinding in the triton like realistic local potentials.
