Parametric excitation of electron cyclotron oscillations in a plasma is studied in a broad range of pumping field strength when the growth rate considerably exceeds the ion cyclotron frequency. The dependence of the maximal growth rate on the pumping field amplitude is determined. The effective collision frequency for which saturation of parametric instability occurs is found. (auth)
