Declassified version of AERE-RP/R-1545. A series of exponential experiments were performed which were designed to provide criticality data for PIPPA Mark I and to systematically increase the amount of criticality data for gas-cooled graphite-moderated uranium reactors in general. The experimental methods used and the method of analysis of the observations are described in detail. Tables of experimental observations are given together with the values of the Laplacian and the migration area assmetry deduced from the analysis. (auth)
