STUDY BY A NEW METHOD OF THE REACTIONS BETWEEN 1 Bev PROTONS AND LIGHT NUCLEI (in French)

The interactions between 1-Bev protons and light nuclei (C, N, and O) were observed in diluted nuclear emulsions. The events were classified into two categories: interactions with the emission of at least one ''slow'' particle (protons of less than 2.25 Mev or alpha particles of less than 9 Mev) or interactions without the emission of slow particles. A parallel study was msde of the interactions of 1-Bev protons and heavy nuclei (Br and Ag) with the emission of between 3 and 8 particles. The two categories differ from each other by the angular distribution of the particles emitted with an energy less than 30 Mev. (tr-auth)
