(n,$alpha$) reaction in $sup 28$Si, $sup 54$Fe, and $sup 197$Au

The energy levels of /sup 25/Mg and /sup 51/Cr were measured from (n, alpha ) reaction in /sup 28/Si and /sup 54/Fe respectively, and the yield of alpha-particles from /sup 197/Au (n, alpha ) /sup 194/Ir reaction was determined using a silicon surface barrier detector. Neutrons were obtained from T(d,n) / sup 4/He reaction with a 3 MeV Van de Graaff accelerator. (auth)
