Title: Studies of blue objects at high galactic latitudes. III. Faint blue objects in the field of BD + 15$sup 0$2469

Journal Article · · Astron. Astrophys., Suppl. Ser., v. 13, no. 2, pp. 269-291
OSTI ID:4304712

A list is given of 306 stellar or semistellar objects with negative U- B color index found on the third field (part of the Virgo Cluster of Galaxies) of the Asiago Survey of Blue Objects at High Galactic Latitudes. Comparing this field with the previous two, a remarkably higher number of small ultraviolet galaxies is found, therefore presumably associated with the Virgo Cluster. In a second table several ultraviolet condensations found on bright galaxies of the field are listed. Individual objects of particular interest are also described. (auth)
