REMARKS ON THE THEORY OF SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
The relation between the Bardeen-Copper-Schrieffer theory and the Bogollubov theory of superconductivity is discussed. It is shown that the B.C.S. trial wave functlon is derived by the sanne transformation as that used by Bogoliubov, and that the integral equatlon whlch determines an introduced paranneter is equivalent. Some remarks are also made on the excited-state wave functions. (auth)
