ON THE INTERACTION BETWEEN SMALL PERTURBATIONS AND THE DISCONTINUITIES IN MAGNETO-HYDRODYNAMICS AND THE STABILITY OF SHOCK WAVES (in Russian)

A simple geometrical method is presented for the constructlon of iyaves diverging (reflected and refracted) from a discontinuity surface and produced by the incidence of a plane monochromatic wave on a plane sthtionary discontinuity surface in a medium describable by equations of magnetohvdrodynamics. The case of a shock wave is considered. The stability of shock waves with respect to inclined incident perturhations is investigated on basis of the results ohtained. Varia tlon of the frequency as a result of interaction of small perturbations with shock waves is considered. (tr-auth)
