MEASUREMENTS OF THERMAL PROPERTIES. Period covered July 1, 1957 to March 31, 1958

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4293512
The materials investigated were stainless steel type 316, stainless steel type 347, Hastelloy R-235, aluminum oxide, niobium, lithium hydride and synthetic sapphire. The thermal conductivity, specific heat, and linear thermal expansion were measured from 100 to 3000 deg F, or to the melting point of the material, whichever was lower. Both the experimental measurements and the results of the conversion of these measurements to the desired physical properties are given. (auth)
