Programs for calculating direct-beam fast neutron and gamma dose rates in and around cylindrical shield regions coaxial with cylindrical source regions were coded for tbe IBM 701 digital computer. A program for computing tbe weight of a reactor-shield assembly also was coded. Components of the IBM 701 computer required for these programs include two memory frames, one magnetic drum, and two tape units. Instructions for using these programs and input data for a sannple problem are given. (auth)
